Rezvan Zahedi
Born in 1987 in Bouchehr, Iran, Rezvan Zahedi is a photographer. After graduating from high school, she becomes completely dedicated to photojournalism and specializes in graffiti photography. In 2013 she organizes in her country a clandestine exhibition of her work because of the political inclinations of the images. She arrives in France in 2015, she participates to the exhibition “Hip-Hop: from the Bronx to the Arabic streets” at the Institut du Monde Arabe, where she presented photographs discussing the role of graffiti and the artistic freedom in countries that are under an Islamist regime. Then, she works as a photographer for the Musée & Jardins Cécile Sabourdy at Vicq-sur-Breuilh, participates in different exhibitions (Villa Rose in Paris…) and animates calligraphy workshops.
