Alaa Sndyan
Born in 1989 in Damascus, Syria, Alaa Sndyan is an architect and visual artist. A graduate in architecture from the Arab International University of Damascus, she works for architectural offices and as an interior designer. Her reflection on the city follows the paths of digital image, ink sketches and installation. She arrives in France in 2015 and is a member of the agency of artists in exile since 2017. She is studying a Master of Engineering “Smart Cities Solutions” at University for Applied Sciences Stuttgart. She signs, in collaboration with Mahmoud Halabi, the scenography of the festival Visions of Exile 2019 at the Cité internationale des arts – Site de Montmartre.
